Evorts Technology (“Evorts”, “we”, “us”) builds mobile and desktop applications distributed through the Apple App Store, Mac App Store, and Google Play Store. This policy explains what information we collect across our website and apps, why we collect it, and the choices you have. Individual apps that handle sensitive data have their own supplementary policies, linked from this page. Where an app-specific policy exists, it takes precedence for that app.
Our privacy principles
- Collect the minimum. We only collect data an app genuinely needs to function.
- On-device first. Wherever possible, your data is processed and stored on your device, not our servers.
- No selling, ever. We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to anyone.
- Transparency. Every app’s store listing and in-app settings describe exactly what leaves your device.
Information we collect
Website
- Analytics. We use Umami, a privacy-focused analytics service, to count visits in aggregate: pages visited, referring site, country, browser, and device type. Umami sets no cookies, does not store your IP address, and cannot identify you or follow you across other websites.
- Cookies. This website does not use cookies.
- Feedback form. When you submit feedback, we store the name, email address, and message you provide, so we can read and respond to it. This information is stored on our servers and is never shared with third parties.
Apps
- Purchase state. Apple or Google processes paid apps and in-app purchases entirely. We never see your payment details; we only receive anonymous purchase receipts to unlock features.
- Crash and diagnostic data. With your consent (via Apple’s or Google’s system prompt), we receive anonymized crash reports to help us fix bugs.
- App-specific data. Some apps handle additional data (for example, passwords, passphrases, or financial records). Those apps have dedicated policies listed at the bottom of this page.
What we don’t do
- We do not run third-party advertising in any of our apps.
- We do not use cross-app or cross-site tracking.
- We do not sell or share personal data with data brokers.
Data retention
Feedback submissions are retained for up to 24 months so we can follow up on ongoing conversations, then deleted. Aggregate analytics are retained for as long as our Umami plan keeps them (currently 6 months), then deleted.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (including the EU/EEA under GDPR and California under CCPA), you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete personal data we hold about you. Because most of our apps store data only on your device, deletion is usually as simple as deleting the app. For anything else, contact us and we will respond within 30 days.
